Terms & Conditions

A legal disclaimer

The explanations and information provided on this page are only general and high-level explanations and information on how to write your own document of Terms & Conditions. You should not rely on this article as legal advice or as recommendations regarding what you should actually do, because we cannot know in advance what are the specific terms you wish to establish between your business and your customers and visitors. We recommend that you seek legal advice to help you understand and to assist you in the creation of your own Terms & Conditions.

Terms & Conditions - the basics

Having said that, Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) are a set of legally binding terms defined by you, as the owner of this website. The T&C set forth the legal boundaries governing the activities of the website visitors, or your customers, while they visit or engage with this website. The T&C are meant to establish the legal relationship between the site visitors and you as the website owner.

T&C should be defined according to the specific needs and nature of each website. For example, a website offering products to customers in e-commerce transactions requires T&C that are different from the T&C of a website only providing information (like a blog, a landing page, and so on).

T&C provide you as the website owner the ability to protect yourself from potential legal exposure, but this may differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, so make sure to receive local legal advice if you are trying to protect yourself from legal exposure.

What to include in the T&C document

Generally speaking, T&C often address these types of issues: Who is allowed to use the website; the possible payment methods; a declaration that the website owner may change his or her offering in the future; the types of warranties the website owner gives his or her customers; a reference to issues of intellectual property or copyrights, where relevant; the website owner’s right to suspend or cancel a member’s account; and much, much more.

Motivated Mowers – Service Policy & Service Descriptions

Motivated Mowers provides reliable, professional lawn care services designed to keep your property clean, healthy, and well maintained. Our services are structured to give customers flexible options depending on their lawn maintenance needs.

Service Options

One-Time Lawn Service

Our One-Time Lawn Service is ideal for customers who would like to try our services or need a single lawn maintenance visit.

This option is commonly used for:

  • First-time customers wanting to experience our service

  • Occasional lawn cleanups

  • Properties that require maintenance after extended growth

A one-time service includes mowing, weed whipping, edging, and blowing of visible debris areas.

Motivated Bi-Weekly Service

Our Motivated Bi-Weekly Service is our standard lawn maintenance plan and is recommended for most residential lawns.

Service is performed every two weeks to maintain proper grass height, appearance, and overall lawn health.

This plan provides consistent lawn maintenance and helps prevent excessive grass growth between visits.

Motivated Monthly Service

Our Motivated Monthly Service is designed for customers who require basic lawn maintenance once per month.

Service is performed one time per month and includes the same professional lawn maintenance services provided during regular visits. Due to longer growth periods between visits, lawn conditions may vary depending on seasonal growth.

Standard Services Included

Each lawn service visit includes:

  • Lawn Mowing
Grass is cut to a healthy and even height to maintain proper lawn appearance and growth.

  • Weed Whipping
Grass and weeds are trimmed in areas where mowers cannot reach, including fences, trees, and landscaping edges.

  • Edging
Clean and defined edges are created along sidewalks, driveways, and landscape borders to maintain a polished appearance.

  • Leaf Blowing
Grass clippings and loose debris are blown off driveways, walkways, patios, and other visible areas.

Optional Add-On Services

Dog Waste Removal

Motivated Mowers offers dog fecal waste pickup as an optional add-on service.

If customers would like this service completed during their lawn visit, a $10 surcharge will be added to the service total.

This service helps maintain a cleaner yard and allows our team to safely perform lawn maintenance.

Extra Growth Fee

If grass height exceeds normal maintenance standards at the time of service, an additional $5 growth fee may be applied.

This fee covers the additional time, labor, and equipment wear required to bring the lawn back to a clean and even condition.

Customer Responsibilities

To ensure safe and efficient service, customers are responsible for ensuring the yard is free of hazards prior to service, including:

  • Trash

  • Toys

  • Hoses

  • Cables or wires

  • Pet waste (unless dog waste removal service has been requested)

  • Other debris

If small items are present that can be safely moved without risk of damage, Motivated Mowers may move them at our discretion.

Access Requirements

Customers must ensure that gates are unlocked and pets are secured prior to service.

If we cannot safely access the yard, the service may be skipped and rescheduled for the next available service date.

Liability Policy

Motivated Mowers is not responsible for damages caused by hidden objects, debris, or items left in the yard.

We are also not liable for pre-existing lawn or property conditions, including damaged sprinkler systems, irrigation lines, landscaping issues, or existing turf damage.

Payment Policy

Payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed upon.

Any additional fees, including growth fees or optional services, will be added to the final service total.

Weather Delays

Service may be delayed due to heavy rain or unsafe weather conditions. When delays occur, services will be completed as soon as conditions safely allow.
